These are those cute little French Vanilla Cappuccino bottles that come 4 in a pack...don't ask me where the 4th one is... ;) After peeling off the label...I just poured some off-white paint on the inside, swirled it around...slowly turning the bottle making sure all parts of the glass was covered and let it dry. I found some larger rub on transfers from my scrapbooking stash...cut some cute coordinated ribbon...and there ya have it! Sooooo easy...and simple!
So here's proof to my hubby that it is OK to hold on to things...to re-use...re-purpose... and
re-cyle! :)

ReplyDeleteI just saved one of these bottles and now I know what to do. First, buy two more cappuccinos. Next, drink them with a friend and then CREATE!

They are really cute and fun. Love it when things can be re-used and re-purposed! Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the nice comments ladies... :)
ReplyDeleteCute! I've always liked the shape of these bottles and I love what came inside them ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Thank you for such clear instructions and a beautiful way to reuse bottles.
ReplyDeleteI have some milk-looking bottles that had candy in them that I got the kids for their stockings at Christmas. (They were on clearance at the grocery store for 35 cents and I liked the bottles.) Now I know what I want to do with them! I hope the paint sticks to the glass- I know some people who have tried painting bottles and it didn't work.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Great idea with the paint!
ReplyDeleteVery cool idea! I love the colour combinations you chose!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute...LOVE it!

These came out so cute. I love that you used rub on transfers. I just recently got a cricut that I can use to do the lettering, but I know I would love to hear of other ways for cute lettering for those that don't have a cutting machine.

SO SWEET! They look like something out of Country Sampler, but I know you made em for a fraction of the cost! Go you! I will definitely be making some of these babies to house some spring blooms! Thanks!!!
ReplyDeletewhat type of paint did you use for this?
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! I just knew there was a reason for hanging onto some of the glass bottles I have. I like the shapes of some, so I clean them up good, and box them till a later time when my creative groove kicks in!:)
ReplyDeleteI am curious as to the kind of paint you used for this. Was it a paint that had a primer in it for glass, or what was it you used?
Thanks so much for sharing this!:) Happy Creating!:)
Love these! What kind of paint did you use, I have done this before but my paint did not work. Also these look painted on the outside?? I know you said you swirled the paint on the inside but you can't even tell! How did you get the outer glass to not show??
ReplyDeleteThese Starbucks jars are so cute! You decorated them very nicely. Great re-purpose!
